Hi, there!
Hi, and welcome! This post gives a brief introduction to this website, including a bit about the idea behind the website and briefly about the technical solutions.
My name is Runar and I’m a hobbyist programmer from Norway. I enjoy making small apps and websites as well as contributing to open source projects. You’ll find some of my work on my GitHub profile .
More than once have I spent several hours troubleshooting a problem, searching high and low on all kinds of search engines and websites, and thinking that someone else must have had the same problem. The idea behind this website is to have a place, a notebook if you will, to write down solutions I find, thoughts I have, and other stuff I would normally forget, that would also be helpful to others.
A short technical introduction
This website is built on Jekyll with a design based on the Skeleton CSS boilerplate. Hosting takes place on GitHub Pages , and CDN and SSL services are provided by CloudFlare . It costs me nothing1 to run this website, as I use the free plans offered by GitHub and CloudFlare.
The website source code is available in this repository under the MIT License.
The .st TLD belongs to São Tomé and Príncipe , a small island nation in the Gulf of Guinea, off the western coast of Central Africa.

The only real expence I have running this website is the annual domain fee. ↩︎
